Well we have had the allotment now for almost a year so its better late than never to get this blog started.  Last year we got the allotment late so it was difficult to get much done.  However we got a large crop of beans and probably the best bit was the largest sunflower that I’ve ever seen and grown.

Enough on last year lets start thinking ahead, well again the blog is abit late because plants have already been potted inside and we have garlic and onions already growing.  The potatoes (first earlies and second earlies) went in last week and today the main crop trenches were dug.

Unfortunately the weather is not looking good for bank holiday friday which is a really shame.
