Its amazing you have a couple of days away and the weather is fantastic and everything springs to life.  After getting back from the holiday the potatoes in the growing pot in the back garden needed to be covered meaning we would have to get down to the allotment to sort out the rows and rows of potatoes there.

After work Ms A when to the allotment for about an hour on Thursday doing the potato covering and also doing some general weeding.

Today we have spent most of the day down there (post to come about the funky new compost bin).  While I was busy with the bin, Ms A was planting the main crop potatoes so we have two rows of them in now so fingers crossed we will have potatoes all over the summer and in to Autumn (can but hope I suppose).  She also planted summer onions, again hoping that we wont need to buy any onions at least over the summer months.
